LEARNER REQUIREMENTS


Our programs are superior in quality and unsurpassed in their presentation. Each facilitation (part or full time) will be complimented with sourced and in-house notes, aided with supplementary visual aids (photographic slides, LCD graphics, CG illustrations and overheads graphics). Every team member at Professional Drafting Services is a dedicated professional to ensure the highest possible standards (as entrenched in our mission statement). All that is required from you is to start your journey of self improvement.

Full Time

Full time learners have to attend facilitation of 6 hours per day and complete 3 hours of homework. Attendance is Monday to Friday 09:00 - 16:00.

Home Study

Correspondence /home study is based on a ±2 hours per day. No attendance required. Friday afternoons are available as "open house" for supplementary tuition, draughting forums and seminars.

Part Time

Part time learners have to attend facilitation of 3 hours on specified days and complete 8 hours of homework. Attendance is twice a week 18:00 - 21:00

Learners that are underqualified for program acceptance will be required to undergo RPL or be evaluated with an integrated assessment conducted at the offices of Professional Drafting Services. A learner is assessed for:

a)science familiarity,
b)mathematics perception,
c)general knowledge,
d)life skills and
e)technical interpretation.
Graduate learners - A learners prerequisite for a graduate program acceptance is grade 12 with minimum of mathematics and basic computer competence or equivalent or RPL.
Undergraduate learners - A learners prerequisite for an undergraduate program acceptance is grade 12 with minimum of mathematics literacy and basic computer competence or equivalent or RPL.
(All RPL must be or have been performed by a constituent assessor of SETA).
