CREDITS - competency assigned to specific outcomes from unit standards.

GRADUATE

FIRST CERTIFICATE - a qualification of a minimum of 1200hrs (PDS level 6 PDS credits 120) (maximum of 36 credits can be obtained at level 5) for national and international status.

FIRST DIPLOMA - a qualification of a minimum of 2400hrs (PDS level 7 PDS credits 240) (maximum of 72 credits can be obtained at level 6 of that a maximum of 36 credits at level 5) for national and international status.

UNDERGRADUATE - a credit certificate program and a means of gaining credits for a graduate program.

MODULE - a dedicated semester.

OBE - Outcome based education.

RPL - Recognition of prior learning.

UNIT STANDARD - A set of instructions based on collective and specific outcomes.
